3G Layer 1 Engineer

Working within the firmware team, you will be involved in the design and implementation of new features for a 3G WCDMA infrastructure product. Work will be in the chip rate processing and the bit rate processing domains of WCDMA L1, including development of R99 radio bearers, HSDPA, HSUPA and LTE features. You will be implementing real-time signal processing algorithms for modems using software based DSP or HDL and have embedded C and Layer 1 skills, particularly for WCDMA.

You will have a good degree/PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant technical subject, be a team player and have experience of implementing signal processing algorithms in at least one of the following:

System C or Handel C for FPGA development.
SOC Development.
