Final Test Systems Engineer

Our client is looking for a temporary test engineer, to be responsible for the Final Assembly and Testing of Company products in accordance with issued procedures and work instructions to agreed quality standards, delivery deadlines and manufacturing targets. You will support the Production Manager and Final Test supervisor to achieve the expected production output.Job description- Compliance with Company procedures and controls (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001) as defined- Undertake Final Assembly and Test to customer order configuration in accordance with identified specifications, test procedures and work instructions- Experience with vacuum systems, high voltage, electro mechanical assembly and fibre optics- Undertake Final Assembly and Test to meet required quality standards within established standard manufacturing times- To accurately record and report all required information and data within the agreed timescale and procedures- To troubleshoot malfunctions, carry out modifications and build prototypes as required- Complete sub-assemblies and provide assistance to other Departments as the workload demands- Ongoing responsibility for the maintenance of test equipment under his/her care- Perform other duties that may be required from time to time- Experience in testing Scanning Electron Microscopes usefulLocationBased in CambridgeThere could be some travel to Germany from time to timeThere is a possibility the job could go temp to perm for the right person.
