Our client is seeking a field based fitter / test engineer, ideally based in the Cambridge area, to cover the whole of East Anglia. You will be carrying out low pressure testing on road tanker vessel and pumping systems to ensure compliance for the carriage of dangerous goods.
Previous experience on pressure vessels, pumping systems, hydraulics and mechanical systems, preferably on vehicles, is required. Electrical knowledge would be an advantage.
Working from home, you need to be independent and prepared to work flexibly as hours worked and distances travelled will vary on a day by day basis, depending on where your clients are based. A company van, phone and equipment are provided and full training with be given to the recognised industry standards with a period of 'shadowing' a trained engineer initially.
