Our client, involved in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of radio systems & applications is seeking an Engineering Supervisor for their busy and growing business.
Reporting to the Managing Director and heading up a team of service engineers, this role is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business and drive the engineering function forward.
Summary of Role:
To provide leadership, management and strategic direction, enabling the business to achieve growth and a high level of customer service within a safe environment and ensuring delivery service objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• To ensure all customers/employees and individuals who may come into contact with the company’s activities are always within a safe working environment.
• To ensure all customers receive at all times the highest level of customer service from all members of the Service Team.
• Achieve maintenance and call out targets.
• Achieve targeted revenue and margin requirements as per the budget.
• To set up and monitor all training & development programmes within engineering.
• Ensure company policies, guidelines and procedures are adhered to.
• Ensure that engineering and operational reviews are carried out where appropriate in order to consistently achieve targets.
• Review market trends and liaise with larger customers/clients and assist in establishing the company as a recognised brand in order to maximise business opportunities and improving performance of the Sales team.
• Monitor and review targets for operational teams to ensure business expectations and targets are met.
• Ensure all employees recruited for roles are of a high calibre and will actively support the growth of the business.
KNOWLEDGE
• You will be highly PC literate including knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with digital radio experience an advantage. You must have previous supervisory experience with proven motivational and organisational skills. You will need to be a strong character with the ability to implement change effectively.
