The company and the position
Established in 1966 and located near Cambridge (UK), Welding Alloys Ltd is the headquarters of the Welding Alloys Group. Welding Alloys Limited manufactures a complete range of tubular welding wires, welding equipment and provides welding services using its own materials and equipment for the hardfacing and cladding of worn components in service.
This new position has been created due to the expansion and reorganization of our Group JDE Department to be an active team member implementing JDE EnterpriseOne in new companies within the Groups and supporting users. You will be responsible for providing JDE manufacturing support for users, implementing JDE manufacturing modules in new sites, training users on the Manufacturing modules and troubleshooting issues including data analysis. There is a more detailed description of the responsibilities available.
The job holder
The ideal candidate has to hold previous proven experience of JD Edwards Manufacturing and Inventory modules.
Experience of using Engineer to Order (ETO), Sales and Procurement modules would be advantageous.
She/he will have excellent analytical skills.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead, manage and support changes to the application software, from analysis through to implementation.
Strong IT literacy on Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint is essential.
Good communication skills with proficiency level of English is required.
