Working closely with other members of the multi disciplinary team the vacancy holder will ensure through regular and active communication and from the basis of an exceptional service that first class relationships are forged with key customers as well as building strong relationships with the paediatric centres to meet their current and future needs.

The main responsibilities for this position include:
*All paediatric care and administration of enzyme replacement therapy is provided to first class clinical and ethical standards and demonstrates best practice.
*To provide a comprehensive training programme for patients/carers/parents in the home environment to allow self-cannulation and infusion.
*To provide support and advice to clients.
*Develop strong working relationships with each of the referral centres.
*To maintain accurate records of care in a timely manner
*To assist in the recording/reporting of adverse events/incidents; including side-effects of therapy
*To maintain all relevant clinical skills and attend regular updates
*To ensure continued professional registration, including meeting PREP requirement

Our client is seeking a Senior ECAD Engineer who is able to work on their own initiative to support development engineering with schematic capture, Printed Circuit Board layout and CAD library management. You will be an integral part of the development team, providing technical advice on the most appropriate PCB technology to use for each design, and work closely with the procurement team to place boards into manufacture and assembly. You will need to have experience and a thorough understanding of the requirements for high speed digital, analogue, power supply and RF PCB designs, as well as a good understanding of EMC/EMI layout considerations and DFM/DFT requirements for low, medium and high volume production. You must have experience of using the current DxDesigner/DXDataBook for the schematic capture. You will be expected to create PCB component footprints and schematic symbols for the CAD library as well as being responsible for the administration of the company’s Product Data Management system. You need to be able to read and understand mechanical drawings and have experience in designing PCBs to fit into ‘off the shelf’ or custom enclosures and be able to work alongside mechanical designers to achieve the most cost effective solution to product packaging. Key responsibilities * Schematic entry using Mentor DxDesigner/DxDatabook * Mentor Central Library maintenance, including the creation of new schematic symbols, PCB pad stacks and PCB footprint cells. * PCB Layout using Mentor Expedition * Manage existing project folders, creating new revisions or projects as required * Provide technical support to the development teams so the appropriate PCB technology can be identified at an early stage in the design process * Provide support to PCB fabricators to ensure the boards can be made as cost effectively as possible and to the timescales required * Ensure all PCBs conform to DFM and DFT methodologies, and work alongside the Procurement team providing Part Lists information and assembly data as required The candidate is likely to have the following skills: * Experience in high speed and/or high complexity digital circuit layout * Experience in analogue and power supply circuit layout * An understanding of the requirements and considerations of RF circuit layout * A very good understanding of PCB fabrication techniques and technology * A good understanding of the PCB assembly processes and impact on layout * High levels of proficiency in schematic entry and component library/database management * Knowledge of thermal design considerations and PCB implications * Understanding of quality practices and design revision management * High motivation with the ability to work autonomously given clear instruction * Strong group working and communication skills * Good communicator – both written and spoken.
